Over the past ten days Ive sent 2 emails to service regarding this, and have had no response. Ive sent the emails to service@basscat.com. Is this the correct email address?

That explains the lack of email. I just installed a new wireless system in my house. I guess the spamkiller on my laptop is killing more than spam.

I had the same problem on my previous boat when I put on an amber roller. I think they are too hard and damage the gel coat. I now use the soft black rubber roller, and rub off the streaks evertime I get home.

I dont know what size you use, but check out sparkplugs.com. Ive been buying from them for a few years now. Their prices are great, and they let you buy them in any amounts you want. Some places require you buy them in tens, but this place lets you buy in any amounts you need. I usually buy 12 and change after I burn my winterized gas, then again half way through the season.

My name wasnt on the list, but my pump was part of the recall. There is an excellent post on this in the Yamaha section of the BBC site. I had my pump done last week. It is pretty painless, and took a few hours. The tech ran a compression test when he was done and everything checked out fine. I was hoping on running my boat this weekend, but winter arrived Saturday, so I guess I wont get out until spring.

Youll get my vote on the old style turtle tees. I finally found the perfect shirt, and when I went to order more this spring they were no longer available. The new style is bland, but those old ones were very sharp. I burn very easy in the sun, so I always wear long sleeve white shirts. If you get them back, Ill take a bunch for sure.

We had two deaths and one in critical condition on Candlewood last weekend when a racing boat collided with a bass boat at 1:30 in the AM. Be careful out there guys.

Thanks for the feedback. I found the cable in the bilge, and it was still attached to the arm. I put the selector switch to auto and was able to pull back on the valve armature and expose the cable. I sprayed some silicone lubricant on it, and worked it back and forth a bit. The cable will move the armature when moved to empty, but will not move the armature when moving it back to automatic. I guess the valve must be too tight for the cable alone to move it. Does this sound like the valve is bad? In any event, I ordered a new valve and will change it over the weekend. What do you guys think?

Where would I check for the cable slipping? I see it is attached to the armature on the valve. Is there another connection point I should be checking?

Yes, the 27 and 25 are both T1s.

Im on my sixth Ford, and the plug that comes standard with the truck worked on all my boats. Ive had a number of Broncos, Expeditions, and now an F-250. The standard plug just hooked up to my Bass Cat trailer with no modifications. I can look up the part number if you need it, but the same plug came on all my trucks, and I never had to choose among various types.

The relay is for electric brakes. Ive never used this on my boats. When your truck is delivered, there will be a socket to plug into to the left of the receiver mount. You should also get a plug with the truck. The end of the plug has a square flat connector, which simply hooks onto the wiring end on your trailer. The Ford towing package is great, and youll find the electrical hookup is simply plugging in the trailer to the plug, then the plug into the socket.
