Curious as to why its safer without a hotfoot? I have one and I really dont like it. I have a weak leg since my back surgery and it wears my leg out on a long run.

TNbass, Take it back to them. You will not get it done any cheaper or BETTER for the money. I will be taking my 99 Classic back in January for new seats and carpet(hopefully a flippin deck console to replace my flippin deck if I can swing the funds). I have already taken one back several years ago and Richard did a stellar job in refurbishing my first 92 P2. Great bunch to deal with and plus youll get to check out the factory. FYI, to keep the wife happy I make it a weekend trip and after dropping the boat off we go to Branson and let her spend some money to keep the heat off me. Whatever works I guess… PS I live in memphis and the drive is not bad at all.

Anybody tried the BassCat Suits? I have been considering buying on but would like to hear how they compare to the Guidewear and 100 mph suits

Seems like it took me 4 hours give or take. As far as price I really dont remember but I think it was somewhere in the $2500 range. I had all new seats, carpet, new trolling motor, electrical problems fixed , and the top cap buffed out. I was amazed when I picked it up. As far as how to set up an appointment, I called the factory and set up a drop off time and date. Cant wait to get mine back there for a makeover.

Where are you located? Is the center console/step included for $350? Is stone a light grey or tan? Thanks

Im running a Classic with a 200 merc carbed with 25 Tempest. Turning near 5800 rps and right at 70 mph. ZERO chine walk and it doesnt like any more than 1/4 trim. Anything more and it starts to rooster tail and starts slowing down. This may just be mine, but the ride is great.

I do not know if you are considering drivng to Memphis for the repair but just in case. DO NOT!! The only place that is factory authorized is a joke. They have ripped me a new one more than once and not fixxed the problem either time. Grizzly Jig in South East Missouri would be my choice. Those Guys are good and if you know what the peoblem is they will schedule you for repair and do it while you wait. Give them a call and ask for Lance.
