Hello Judge, I was at Garys shop on Wednesday and dropped off my little Pantera 2 to get a couple of small dings fixed. While I was there I got to look over the work he did on your boat and I was very impressed to say the least. I could not tell that anything was ever wrong or damaged down the port side. The Puma sitting next to yours was next and Gary said it was going to be a bigger job, but judging from the work he did on your Sabre the owner will be impressed as well. Good luck on the water Brad Jonesboro, Ar.

You should talk to a man named Gary Wright ( Wright Way Boat Repair ). He works for BassCat and has an outstanding reputation for the quality of his work. He has his own shop at his home in Midway, just down the road from the BassCat factory. He did my boat last year and did great work. He has people bring their boats from all over the country for him to work on. His number is 870-481-5049 evenings. Good Luck

I thank all of you for your advice. I will say that John struck a cord and I would rather spend 50 bucks extra and support the family. Thanks

Sam,I will be on Norfork all day in the morning at sun up. I will let you know what I find as far as conditions go. I was going to start close to the dam and see if the smallies are going to come out and play and then go down to Diamond Bay and start working back in the creeks. Talked to a friend that was there three days ago and said that the fish have all moved back in the creeks and are getting ready. Water is still a little cool but we have had a solid week of outstanding weather ( low 80s in Jonesboro ). With this front coming on Friday I am hoping for a good day. We shall see….

Spots are on the beds everywhere. Water temps were in the upper 60s on average on the lake. Water was clean exept the yellow pollen everywhere on top. Did the best in the back of Brushy Creek and in the back of Bennetts on crank baits and some on a Shakey Head. Had a good day but have done better.

Tommy,I am from Jonesboro so I am close to you. I fish Norfork often and can give you some starting points. Email me brossman@jonesboro.org and I will fill you in. Loose the heavy line, Norfork is very clean, clear water ( not like Big Lake ) and heavy line will give you problems. Good luckBrad

The weather man says we are going to get some major nasty weather in Arkansas this Saturday. You boys be careful on Greers and watch out for the tornados. I hate them things and we are going to get hammered from Little Rock to the East..

Hey Brother,I have the same boat and motor. I have run a 25 Trophy plus for a few years and this was a good all around prop and easy to drive. I just put a 25 Tempest Plus on my boat and I have seen a major improvement. I had to remove all but one PVS plug to get a great hole shot, but overall it was a better prop than the Trophy. If I had a bunch more dollar bills in my wallet I would have put a 24 Fury on the boat, which I think would be the best prop overall, but they are expensive and I did not have the money to spend. If you go with the Fury you probably need to step down to a 24 pitch because of the stiffer cup on the Fury. Good Luck
