Will Bass Cat ever plan to offer this boat with a T-Top option? I know the console folds down for garage storage and the T-Top would eliminate that. Just wondering. I have a another brand bay boat now and want to switch to the Bay Cat but really like the T-Top and electronics box. Will the Bay Cat transom hold a Yamaha 225 4-Stroke?Thanks.

Judd,Have you ridden in a Bay Cat? I have a 195″ center console and it beats me up just running in 2 footers. It has a 25″ transom but still rattles my teeth in rough water. I am very disappointed with the ride. I know how my Puma handles rough stuff but not sure how the Bay Cat would compare.Thanks,Chet

I recently noticed that Yamaha came out with the new 225 4 stroke Sport motor that comes in a 20″ shaft. Looks like it will be perfect for this setup. Really want to run a 4 stroke. Will be used in Bays and the Gulf of Mexico. A lot of trolling and low rpms. Phil do you know if this boat can take 2 to 3 waves and stay on plain?Anyone had this boat offshore in rough water?Thanks,Chet

We have been over a 100 14 days this month in Birmingham. We are 25″ below our normal rainfall. Everything is dying around here. It looks like we have fall color already but the trees are dead. Water levels on most lakes are already below winter pool. We hit 105 thursday. Dont know how those guys are praticing football in this heat. Chet

The first rails were a one piece design and did have fracture problems. I have had mine replaced with the new rails. It is a two piece design and is not in a bind as much as the previous rails. No problems witht he new ones. They look great. Problem Solved.Chet
