I would have to agree the tournament was an absolute blast. I have a very good tournament. This was my very first trip to Wheeler Lake. I made the long trip from Missouri and accomplished all my goals except placing in the money. I arrived on Wednesday and pre-fished thursday and friday. This was my very first tournament fishing solo. Thats right solo. I did this whole thing on my own. I went out pre-fished hard found fished and caught a limit. I know it was not much. I had a limit that weighed 10.55 finished 21st place. I was very please with myself. I found a spot in practice that was holding some nice fish. I sat on this one spot all day in the current. I could not tell you how many cast I made to this one rock. The game changer was the water level droped about a foot. But I can not complain I went into this tournament have never been to Wheeler Lake never fished a tournament by myself and caught a limit and was please with my weight I got to fish against some Bassmaster Elite Pro and some FLW Tour Pros. I did well. Kota did such and awesome job. This guy really loves the sport. I just cant say enough about how well this tournament went. I cant wait until next year. Wheeler Lake is different and a beautiful lake. I got to meet lots of great people. I did keep a video blog of this whole event. I hope to have it posted on youtube for all of you to see how things went from my point of view. What an awesome event!!!! I am amazed to see how many bass cats were there. A very good representation of the brand was present.Last edited by BassCatCowboy on December 5th, 2011, 7:53 am, edited 1 time in total.
