Terry,Any chance you keep up with the current owner of this one… since Im sure its long gone! If it comes back up for sale, I would like to request an email before it gets posted. Sorry I missed it last time around. Touch base with Phil about his site at http://www.impactfishing.com. His site is based in TX but youll get some hits on it anyway. P.S., I hear hes fishin his way to Mt. Home from Houston so you may have to wait another week or so before you hear back.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
Tideman, I think I see a pattern here. Did I leave the stove on? I think OCD may very well be a link between lots of us and BassCat boats, since we seem to be a little particular about our toys. Gotta run and check the stove…..Last edited by CaddoCat on January 23rd, 2008, 4:01 am, edited 1 time in total.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
I may be able to get in on this one. This is on Millwood right? Hmmm, never fished it but willing to give it a shot. Ill try and keep up with this string in case anything changes. Looking forward to it! Ive fished out of the whole spectrum, having owned a Margay (Im sure a few of you are scratching your heads about that one), a PII and now a Puma. The big jump isnt from the Sabre to the Pantera classes, but to the Cougar. Your Sabre FTD will likely be just as fishable as the PII youre looking at, especially if youve taylored your decision to waters you frequent but Im not at all talking you out of a P11 AT ALL. Youll be way happy with the ETEC on there too!http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
A kit would be a great idea. Ive looked into having a local dealership install a system in my Puma but Ive been a bit unsure how to go about it. This gives me a pretty good idea. Now if I can just talk myself into giving up my boat for a few days in March to do it, probably not going to happen! Is there truly an issue with the holes for the speakers vs. weakness and are there other options for location that arent a problem, i.e. possibly in the side of the console? Any critical info would be a big help before the project. Thanks in advance!http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
That switch drives me crazy! At least I can hear it though, my partner doesnt and is always trimming the motor. This is not a BCB specific issue either. I have another buddy with a non BCB bay boat (against my lobbying of course) and hes always standing on his too. Oh well, lights and sirens arent practical so I guess Ill have to remember its there.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />

No ABA requirement for patches, etc. BASS requires the patch (or embroidery) to be on the shirt on left or right, your call, if fishing “Boater.” Non-boaters may display on shirt or hat in opens, etc. I think thats all correct but it will be clear in the rules for the tourney or series. On that note, how can one add a BCB logo to a tourney shirt thats not a BCB shirt…oh say an ETEC shirt? Would I have to send it to Mt. Home to the “Pimp My Shirt” department of is there another option? Thanks in advance for the info!Last edited by CaddoCat on February 28th, 2008, 9:02 am, edited 1 time in total.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
TBB / PA, thanks for the info, it looks like Dory(i) is the contact I needed. Phil, are you doing a grand-slam trip again this year and fishing your way to the OI? If your “tour” has a stop around Shreveport anywhere let me know. Thanks again!http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
I can at least deal with Hulk Hogan and the Fantasy Fishing ad…..mostly because it took the place of the Arab Dating Network ad that was there every time I checked my messages. That thing drove me crazy (although it was a short trip).http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />

Now thats funny! I never really worried about scratching my boat on someone elses lower unit wedged into a cypress stump but stranger things have happened I guess. Hey, another thought on the black boot… I had a white boot on my last 2 cats and depending on the lake [in Louisiana] if you dont take the time, every time, to wipe the hull down at the ramp before you head home youll eventually get a stain at the waterline thats tough to clean once dried. The cleaner the water the less you have to worry about of course but its worth considering if you spend much time on stained lakes or rivers. As far as the visibility of scratched on the boot, I havent noticed enough difference in visibility of any to ever think my black boot was a bad choice.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />

Im happy with my 225HO. It was a pleasure at the OI whenever someone shut off their Merc while waiting for take-off, I could then actually have a conversation and hear my partner (even with my ETEC running). Im very happy performance wise and I think anyone would be. As far as dependability, I dont have a wealth of information to provide a conclusion on the ETEC yet but I have a personal friend that is a Merc / Yamaha dealer and he says he works on multiple Mercs before he gets a Yamaha (in Mercs defense it could be the law of average in play). My BRP dealer was starteled when I brought my ETEC in for service and told me that it was only the 3rd one he had to work on. Talk with a “neutral” service center that works on BRP and others and get their feedback. With Mercury, I would imagine “better warranty” means longer, but this may be out of necessity rather than simply being a carrot for potential buyers (PA- Im not picking on you BTW). There may be arguable points in other categories listed but like BCB stated above, it will take some sifting. My next Cat will be rigged with a Yamaha or ETEC, currently undecided but the ETEC outruns an equal hp Yamaha on the same boat.http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ width=”250″ height=”80″>http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/files/count … r=0&un=BCB OWNERS INVITATIONAL&size=normal&mo=03&da=27&yr=2007″ />http://assets.justsayhi.com/badges/521/ … 57ol3i.jpg” alt=”” style=”display: none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
