I was told that the difference is about $3,000. This just means I have to wait that much longer to save up the difference. I guess in the long-run it will pay off for itself.

Thanks everyone. I guess you always question the performance of an engine less than max, but it sounds like a 115 would perform well. My 2004 Bumble Bee 270 (16 4″) with a 90 Merc would hit 51 on good days (it was rated for a 135). The performance of this little boat was surprising….speed, lift, fuel efficiency, etc. all with a less than max recommended engine. The Sabre is one of the lightest in its class…

Out of those three, Im going to T-Bend later this spring. I hope the water is still up in the bushes. There are just so many different ways to fish at the Bend. From clear water to muddy…and the fish are there, too. Good luck!

Dodgeman, you made the right decision. Figure out what works best for you and go get it. Dont be afraid to ask quesitons on this board. The frequently asked quesitons are a good source of information, too. You can also use the “search” tool and it will sort through the thousands of responses quickly. As you have already discovered there are a million considerations when buying a boat. Be honest with yourself when considering your needs. If you need to go 75 mph, BCB can make it happen; if you need to run 100 miles one way, BCB can put enough gas tanks to make it happen; if you need multiple HD 10 inch wide sidescan graphs on the front, back and console…guess what? BCB can do it. If you want a boat to take a child fishing…yep, they can do that too!!! Post pictures when you get your new boat
