    Most likely the first owner spliced in when installing aftermarket electronics. I’ve added electronics to my Jag and have contributed greatly to the number of splices one would find under the dash. I tied my GPS and LCR on my console to the courtesy light. I tied my bow unit to the accessory switch.

    I removed the trolling motor access plate and the panel that houses my switch. I had the most working room by removing both. Use the same wiring if compatible; otherwise use your old wires to pull your new wires through existing wiring holes (usually located under your mount or under a decorative cap). Visible mount holes that didn’t match up to your new mount are easily filled w/ gel found in inexpensive patch kits.
