Another question…I see that with the gauges on numerous photos Ive seen there is a colored bezel around each gauge. The seem to come in selection of colors. Is this an option or something determined by the factory. I would be getting the Nexsyslink Gauges.

Lots of good replys here make the understanding much easier. Thanks for all the feed back. I agree with what everyone says. Get what you want for options now or youll regret it later. Ive been there and done that What I have listed below should make for an awesome rig! I hope this rig lasts me a loooong time. I only average about 25 hours a season so it should be looking good for many years to come.I am upgrading electronics at the console and bow. Seems like most Cats have Birds but Im going to HDS Lowrances since I already know them and dont want to learn something else. Plus “Birds dont last long with Cats around”As far as the options this is what Ive picked. The only concern I have with the tandem axle is how well I can back it in to my pole barn. Im told tandems dont turn well at 90 degrees. The entire two car side I use for the boat so I have plenty of room there. Also with the barn being 30 deep and having the pivot tongue I have lots of room to walk around the boat.

If youre worried covers rubbing the boat on long towa get a roll of saran wrap. Put this down before the cover goes on will eliminate rub marks from the cover.

Im OK with the HDS-7. Had them for a year already. Just dont have another 1K.With the 2 HDSs and the LWX-1 my LSS-1 will be full for networking capabilities. I dont have another spot to plug in the sonic hub. To do that I had have to get another LSS-1. Now the cost of a radio is really going up. Guess I could NMEA the sharing on the HDSs and that would open up a ethernet connection.I hadnt thought about the rod holer straps…Guess I need to do that too. I thought BCB was going to retractables?Last edited by GRR884 on August 7th, 2011, 6:01 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Thanks for the heads up on the Sonic Hub. If thats the case that would be the way to go. I believe the cost of the Sonic Hub is $300 (3 Rivers Marine). The BCB Sony Radio is around $380. I dont have a ipod, iphone or mp3 player but the built in HDS tuner using the Sirius subscription would be fine for me.I dont tourney fish and rarely use the livewells. I didnt think the lights would be benefical to me.

My friends new Ranger is a the same. Its a strap style cover and Boat Buckles clip on the motor and you ratchet it tight. Great design.

Mark Croxton lives a short distance from me. That guy is awesome and watching him work is amazing. Very, very talented. Unbelieveable how many props he does. He loves stumps and rocks

This will help you with your data overlay questions. http://www.bassfisher1.zoomshare.com/fi … _Units.pdfI love my both HDS-7 units. I have the structure scan and the LWX-1 weather radar.
