Checking mine too. Just ordered my first Basscat, so I dont have any pictures to post in my Avatar, unless you want to see some Skeeter pics, just kidding. I am happy to now be part of the Basscat family.Britt

I did I did, guilty as charged. I just thought since I ordered a new Jag I should have an Avatar with a ferocious kitty in it. I will change as soon as my boat arrives. Thanks for letting me borrow it.Britt

Right now my new Jag is black and white and about 8.5×11″. You can have that! smileBut soon she will be a reality. Looking at Silver hull, Blueberry top cap and still working with Ivan on all the other details. Oh yeah and a Big SHO hangin off the back . To many color combinations/options.Britt

I have had my Skeeter up since November. With very little interest. Just recently the calls and emails have increased. BBC and Craigs list have pulled the interest from the farthest away. I think I have my Skeeter sold now, which is good cause I ordered a Jag last week. Mine was probably over priced up front. It is still cold here but the boats shows and open houses have just concluded and people are starting to look. Financing used rigs has been tough around here (SC) also. Hang in there, I was getting frustrated and now things are looking up. Britt

I had some interference, but it was more from the other side of the jackplate and not the motor I think. I know exacly what you are talking about. Is there a hole already in your jackplate?Britt

Het Rowdy I used those holes to mount my transducer. This was on a bug boat, but same principle. I raise motor just a bit when cruising around scanning with the SI unit. SI doesnt work well on plane anyway, at least for me because my transducer is out of the water on plane. I could never tell that raising the motor changed my image any, so I would have to say I didnt have interference from the motor. I always had some type of lines in my water column, on the left side, not sure where from, but it didnt interfere with my ability to use the unit. I had to send the unit back twice, so I wasnt exactly in the mood to send it back for this when no one knew exactly what it was. No sir, never been on Grand Lake, and my ignorance says I dont even know where Grand Lake is. Let me know if you have any more questions. I can send you a pic of the way I mounted my transducer on my S boat.Britt

What BCB said…. I asked my dealer to see if they could get pics and they have just started sending them this week, not sure when boat was started though. It has been a very nice gesture from BCB. I am sure they are busy, at least I hope they have tons of boats to build. I am very appreciative of the pictures and I want to thank those at BCBs, that have taken time to capture these images. I have become even more excited seeing the pictures. I was nervous picking out colors, you never know exactly how it is going to look, even though I have seen other models with similar color schemes. Cant wait for that new boat smell!!Britt

In the great words of Fats Domino…. I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill. This is the Blueberry color. I have to thank my wife for that selection. She had a lot of input in the color selection and it is turning out fantastic!Britt

I cant say side imaging has helped me catch more or bigger fish, but it has helped me find bait fish quickly and some nice places to fish. Someone told me one time, buy as big and nice a unit as you can, because its cheaper to do it the first time. Keep your eyes on the “unofficial humminbird forums” website. With the new models coming out, you should be able to pick up some deals on the other units, which work great. I dont know where to find the HDS units on a deal since they are so new. But either one works nicely.Britt

Yes to the 2 backup lights, I had them do that on mine. Its like $35-40/light, but dont quote me on the price. I am not sure about the wraps, someone else will comment on this I am sure.Britt

Sounds like the registration holder for sure. Did the owner before you lose the cap? I dont believe it was a very deep pocket at all.Britt

I realize this is time consuming for BCB to do, but these pictures are awesome. BCB documented my entire build and sent my dealer and myself many pictures through out. This was a very nice gesture and very much appreciated. I have been with another boat company and never have I had this much contact with the company itself for something positive. BCB has definitely carved a niche in the bass boat market that very few others will ever duplicate. I know very little about BCB boats, because I have never owned one, but the company itself and my experience with the company so far has been incredible. I will find out tomorrow when I pick up my first Basscat about the boats themselves. I can honestly say I dont think I have ever been this excited about a purchase ever before. I know from the start that no matter what happens, BCB will do everything possible to make sure my and everyone elses experience will be great! Your boat looks great. You will be amazed at the progress that is made with every picture.Britt
