It looks like you have the standard pulse pump going to a water separator to a vapor separator to an electric pump to fuel rail one oof the most reliable combinations out there if you want to buy this old service manual $25.00  plus freight it is a January 2000 manual no. 90-878079 text Greg (314)750-0464

Yes the 3.0 is a a great engine and only time will tell how the new four strokes hold up but the SHO only hurt there sales slightly and yes my old 2.5 XR6  was a good motor only time will tell I have less than 5 hrs on my 3.0 250 pro xs but I do like how it starts in cooler weather.

Quality Inn has electrical outlets as well.  Thinking maybe with that much congestion predicted may look at VRBO are something along that line.
