I have a Ford 97 Expedition. I have looked at the Chevrolet site to price out a 2500 Silverado LTZ Ext cab 4wd with an 8 bed. According to the site there is no such truck being made in 2010. A 6 bed not an 8 bed. I would love to get the Duramax diesel, lots of power.
Does anyone have a picture of a unit mounted on the console with the Ram mount? Is there a model that works better, short arm, larger ball and larger mount base?Last edited by JoeBass05 on January 10th, 2010, 3:32 pm, edited 2 times in total.
So where is the transducer mounted on the Puma ( more confused the more I look into this) From the Hummingbird web site, “As an alternative to transom mounting, it is possible on many fiberglass-hulled boats to glue the transducer on the inside of the boat hull. Since fiberglass has similar sonar characteristics as water, the sonar signal can pass through the boat hull with minimal loss. The hull of the boat must be single layer construction (not double-hulled) Also, any air trapped in the lamination of the fiberglass would prevent the sonar signal from passing through. This method will not work for any side imaging transducers.”
NELACAT, The pictures came out fine. I thought it needed to be mounted outside the hull somewhere, just didnt want to drill any holes in the boat. Is that about how it would be installed from the factory on a new boat order?
Real sharp looking but what do you do when you get a scratch in the black side. Like the colors though.Anyone know about the windshield graphics, will BCB install on new boat or will the dealer or clumsy me need to do it
I have seen a few brands of those. The ones I have seen are around 12-14 inches high. Plenty of room just too thick. There will be too much loss of space. http://www.tuffyproducts….d.aspx This is what I have seen so far.
In the towing position with an 8″ D/W jack plate, will it clear an 8 door without having to move it.Just back in and pull out. I seem to be getting more Senior moments at 4 AM, or after a long day out. The less needed to remember the better.
