Ya’ll boys better watch out I taught him everything he knows ! HAHA ! Sorry I will miss this, since I only live an hour away, but we are having our annual church sponsored youth gun hunt on Saturday. My 13 year old daughter wants to go show all the boys up. (I hope). I figured I had better take her since she is getting to the age to where she don’t want much to do with hunting and fishing as much. Hopefully Kelly will keep this going and have one next year !!! Kevin, We are passing the torch back to Kelly for next year, after this gets off the ground! He needed some help this year to get started. We were already in ALabama, so why not enjoin it and fire this up. Though in 2008, it will be his again! We also know this is the youth hunt in those states around “Bama” as well. Though we missed the local deer season. Last weekend would have been a good one to have had it and we just might be a week late. There may be some fog on the water. BCB

Were you at Jordan ? I saw a Basscat down there this past Sat. at Bonners and introduced myself to the owner but it was not you. We had 14lbs. and didnt finish in the top 10. 17 lbs. of spots and (4) 16 lb. stringers of spots weighed in our club tourney Sat.We never got the big bite we needed. I was very impressed to see 7 or 8 different Basscats down there Sat. Unfortunately we took my partners not Cat since it was his month to provide the ride !

I live in Blount County about 20 miles north of Birmingham. The tournament we are fishing is a qualifier for BASS Nation High School. We qualified for the state tourney already down at Lake Martin last weekend but we are going to go ahead and fish them all and see how we do for team points for the year. I have always wanted to fish down there so I figured this would be a good a chance as I get. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated !!!! Nice colors scheme. Ive seen the pictures of this boat on our company board. This boat appears to be super clean. This one definitly shouldnt last long. How many hours ? Around 500 but only a handful over 4900rpm.

It was bitter sweet for sure. Last 4 have been Cat and Im actually going to run a Ranger Z20 for 4 years and give to my son for graduation, its an 07 with 88 hours I got from a friend. I will be back in a Caracal or whatever wide version Basscat has out in 3 to 4 years. It will be my present to myself for raising to wonderful kids. Needed more floor space on front deck with us fishing all the high school tourneys. Going to see if we can break in the “R” boat in the TBF State Championship tomorrow and Saturday on Guntersville. Dont think I want be back in one because I will, this deal was to good to pass on and will be a good fit for my son in college.
