More than likely will be Felsenthal. Dumas may step into the picture. It all depends who does the presentation to the Federation at the December meeting. If Dumas and Felsenthal both do presentations, then a location will be decided (voted) on at the February meeting. If only one has a presentation, a vote will still be taken, but location will be by acclamation. Its really too early to tell right now.

Not afraid to get it dirty – in fact its dirty now. Just been too cold to get er cleaned up decent. Still rides the same – and the invitation to take a ride is still open. But since you just had to make that “dirty” comment, the charge will be $50.

Ryan, The SmartCraft fuel guages will be slow to react. The are others here that will have more to add about the gauges and all I can tell you is it will take a little seat time and maybe a time or two that you run out of gas (been there) before you learn to “read” the gauges. Maybe check out the BCB most asked questions part of the board to help you more. Im still learning.

Sorry for your loss, D. VERY true regarding the p.f.d. The hassle of putting it on isnt anything compared to the conquences of leaving it off and and an accident happening in the blink of an eye.

Im with Silver Bullet on this. Its just what it says it is, a ventilator. The only way to tell if the DO(dissolved oxygen) has increased is to monitor it. Check what the DO is before using it and after a day of fishing. You really need to inject oxygen into the water in order to raise the DO. And too much is as dangerous as too little. Bass require a narrow range of about 4 to 10 mg/L and needs to be measured with a precise instrument. Warmer the water the less oxygen it holds. Looks like the V-T2 would be just another hole in your boat, where you dont want it.

My club had a tournament there a couple weeks ago. New parking area is great. At the ramp, watch out for rocks on the right as you back down. Lots of south wind has loosened a bunch and theyve fallen on the ramp. The fishing wasnt so hot. Less then 8 lbs won, on a shakey head. My partner and I were second with less than 5 lbs. We tried spinner baits and crankbaits, but nothing. Carolina rig, at least for my partner. He boated 3 fish, lost 3 behind me that would have probably give him the win. I caught only one fish that was 11 inches, using the same technique but apparently my underwear was crooked. Lake is up and so was the wind that day with gusts near 40. Water temp at the outlet was around 78. Have fun, but dont expect it to be like it was in the past. Fish that were caught were healthy, but its going to be awhile before that lake comes back. Three other better fishermen than me zeroed. Randy

Man, I would HATE it if my P4 (or any Cat) had to take a beating like that. Dont take any chances with the fuel and oil. You may be fighting glitches for awhile.
