Hawgwild & Lumbeejake, If you will look on first page of topics under “anyone install a loc-r-bar” title, I believe you will have your answer to the rod strap ? straight from BassCat. I believe I am correct and the pvc encasing the wiring is what makes this “dicey”. If I am wrong, Im certain I will be corrected and please accecpt my apology. As for the remote oil fill, I have no input. But remember if you do not care for the velcro rod straps you can always order minus these and install the Rogers or other like straps. You will just be minus the “BassCat Pride”!!!!! Red McPeek

Not to say there is no other place, I mean If I could not go all the way to the great “Texas Nation”. Guntersville would be my back-up. By all means brother If planning and making a long serious trip go for Falcon or Choke Canyon.
