Thanks to all for advice. Im very aware of venting issues and NEVER charge without the lid proper open. I still want to mount a receptical connector and will locate it somewhere, I just wondered if someone else had done one. My 87 Panterra had one when I bought it used and I really found it useful

You’re right they come with open holes. On another BBC Forum I have read the following messages”
Confusing. No plugs, 1 plug, blowouts, etc.?????????
Maybe someones tried it on a Jaguar or a Cougar???

    1. ” I plugged all 3 holes in prop cuz I know everyone says the SHO motors want a ventless prop. She would breakover at 3100 rpms on holeshot”
2 ” On my fury I have to leave one large plug in because of blowout.”
3.”. I spent countless hours dialing in my old p4 and the 25, no plugs, flush JP, load balanced, and fuel half tanks across all three and you should have a 69-71 mph boat. this was in Mobile, Al

I called Allen in Parts today at BassCat. Extremely helpful guy. We got my info pulled up from his computer, reconfirmed my Hull No. and had a new lower 1/2 of passenger seat ordered in no time, and at less than I could get an upholstery guy to do it for. BASSCAT ALWAYS takes care of their people. Thanks Allen and Thank You Rick for running an organization that takes “Customer Service” seriously
