I had the same problem. I wired unit directly to cranking battery and problem was fixed.

I had the same issue and wired unit directly to cranking battery which fixed the problem. There is a voltage drop when starting engine which causes the unit to turn off.

Its my understanding that the transducer will work but you will not have water temp. You have to use lowrance part #106-89 to have temp.

I have a LCX 19 that went bad and am replacing with HDS 7. Lowrance told me that transducer would work but existing water temp would not. Part #106-89 is a transducer with water temp probe attached. Was told the Y connecter I am now using would not work. ope this makes sence.

I had to go to the Exide distributor. I have 3 XMC 31, they seem to do a good job.

Those pads will not work, go to http://www.waymires.com and order the wright pads and any other UFP parts that you need. Great people to deal with.

The Potomac is 3.5 hours away. You could fish Back Bay or the James or Chickahominy river. Brackish water will not hurt your boat or trailer.

I had the same thing happen with mine. Noco does not make a replacement and I am not aware of after market replacement. I wish they would bring it back because it let you know what was going on with your batteries with a quick glance.

Dont know what your budget is, but I have been using the Cul M Rite scale since it came out and been very happy with it. Nothing to mount just a scale that assignees a color tag to fish and will quickly cull after you have you limit
