New to basscat boats, boat seems to plow the water , I’m going to move / redistribute weight and loose some tackle tomorrow and ease of on the trim to see if I can get that sweet spot. Boat has 5 hours on it so everything may still need to break in fully . I came from a 225 skeeter so I’m learning to drive this boat . I appreciate your input

Update :

went out today after thinning tackle , moving heavier tackle to behind my seat . By myself today hit 60 @ 6000 rpm. Came out of the hole good etc. cats are sensitive to trim found that out. Started out all the way down brung it up slowly like tapping the trim . Sweet spot is almost 1/4 trim before it starts chine walking. Holds the corners great. Just learning how to drive it make a difference. Watched the vid with Rick pierce today. He explained a lot.

im going to try a 21 pitch with 2 people next time and see what I get.

I have a 23 Bob as well , mine came with a 23 pitch 3 blade fury . I’m seeing 60 @6000 with just me. I moved all my heavier tackle to the rear compartment. Boat runs great but if you trim 1/4 or more it chine walks so it sweet spot or just below the 1/4 mark. Now with 2 people and my buddies tackle boat plows the water seems like and too speed is 43.  I’m trying a 21 pitch tempest plus soon to see what happens .

I’m seeing 5875-6k depending. I ordered a scorpion 21/22 hasn’t shipped yet. I’ll keep you posted.

Issue fixed . So this boat unlike any I’ve ever had you have to plug the live well ! Crap ! So I installed an open close valve from flo rite and it works like a champ. What would basscat not put a 60$ part in and make anglers lives easier ?
