All three holes have an L….I assume that means plugs are large?????

I know this is going to sound dumb but I have never had to remove a plug. Do these just pop out with pressure???????????

Bill…..what have you been using this on? I have an 02 Classic with 200 Opti. with a 25 Tempest. Everything on boat is great except slow to plane. Not sure if this would be too much prop?????

Thanks for the answers and info…..looks like most of my problem solved. Went out and re measured the prop shaft below the pad. Had stated it was 3.5″ below the pad……that was incorrect as it actually was almost 4.5″. Someone helped me on previous measurement and we were way off. Im sure my fault but looks like it is taken care of now. Readjusted jack plate to the 3.5 and it made a bigggg difference today. Gets up fine now…..thanks again……

I bought the Basscat raingear (full set) very early in the year and it is great. Best I have ever had (maybe 6 sets)….very good preventing getting wet and if you get the jacket insert quite warm in cold weather………..

Something must be right about BassCats…after my tourn. partner bought an 06, – later I bought an 02 Classic. Had fished the Calif. Delta off and on for 30 years and never had a fish over 6# there. In the year since I purchased the Classic I have 6 between 12#-15# and probably 25+ between 5-10#. First time out with my Cat had one over 12# . Has to be the Basscat as have never done as good in the Delta waterways as this year – makes me want to go out and buy a new one, no telling how good the fishing could get!!! (I think this next year will catch up with me and be normal)

Thanks for the responses. I have a New in box 25″ Trophy on the way with the pvs plugs, blowout ring and Flo Torque II Hub assembly. It is coming from a bass boats parts company and got at a very good price delivered. Hopefully I will get it set up right this time…..thanks again….BOB

Thanks for info., copied those and will see what happens now. May have bit off more than I can chew. Have trailer on jack right now with wheel off and still cannot get to the bearings. Now will read these over carefully and see if something clicks……thanks a lot

Too bad…B & W Boats is best magazine I have ever read, also had subscription renewal request as have had since inception. How can they do that when they are no longer putting out the publication? Could care less about Trailer Boats magazine as they do not specialize in bass boats. Wonder what they do with the money they have already for future issues that we have paid for?

Thanks…so far I like my trophy slightly better than the tempest but thinking about trying the Fury, just had not decided on pitch yet…

RE: barriqi with the 25″ Fury….What is your jackplate set at and are you running with what pvs plugs. Sounds like you are doing very well. While my tempest did well with most everything the hole shot was lacking. The trophy is better out of the hole but at higher speeds very squirrelly no matter where I have set jack plate. Really looking for a very good hole shot with reasonable top end (70 mph is fine). I do not normally carry a heavy load in my boat except my own weight – 250#………Thanks

Thank you very much for the information. I had been trying to decide between trying the 24 or 25 thinking the holeshot on 24 should be much better but you indicate great holeshot with the 25 so I think I will try that. (cant afford both props) My trophy 25 is very new so will sell and probably the tempest 25 too and give the Fury a try. Thanks for you help……………….

Thanks for all the help, will definitely fix before going out again. My rig is an 02 Classic with 200hp Optimax so assume Sherms suggestion #1 should do the trick. Thanks again to all! Great board always has answers for those of us who are not sure what is going on. Although this is my 10 bass boat have never had this problem before. BTW while fishing yesterday though in general pretty poor for the Ca. Delta my last fish as I was getting ready to go in was an 11.3# so made up for the slow fishing and made my day despite the warning buzzer going off all day…

I just got Costa Del Mar Permits in silver mirror with the 580 glass lense. Best fishing glasses I have ever used easily. Have had numerous ones for fishing, various makes, but these are the best for me. I have a large head and the Permit model fits very well….
