I live in Oklahoma but have stayed in Denison several times and put in just west of the dam. Nice wide ramp and good parking. YMMV

Appreciate the responses, dont have my cat yet. A lot of the used boats Ive looked at have the stock slidemaster plate. I definitely wanted a hydraulic on my next boat so thats why the inquiry. Nice to know they will bolt right up.

Thanks Guys, Ive got the build sheet for the boat, theres just not specific information about the transducers. It has a factory installed through hull transducer in the bow. A factory installed (DI) transducer on the troller. Also a factory installed through hull transducer in the bilge with a temp sensor on the transom. These are checked on the build sheet. My inquiry was if I could come up with the model (part) number of these transducers to set the graphs up with the proper transducer settings. The boat also has an LSS2 HD Structure scan box with transducer. When you set up the transducer for the graph there is a drop down menu with lots of choices of transducers to pick from. I thought maybe BCB had a specific material list for each boat by hull #.

I have a new to me 2014 Puma FTD with 250 ProXS also, I purchased in January. Loving the boat. Run a 26 Fury and hydraulic jack-plate. No plugs, blows out a bit coming out of the hole but the hole-shot seems pretty good to me. Still trying to figure out how to best use the jack-plate. I have seen 70 mph with it pretty easy, not sure what it can do wide open. May try a new Bravo 1 XS in the near future. Enjoy!

Thanks for the responses. I did not notice that on the home page, it does just show some speakers mounted in the cockpit sides. The clearance there cant be very much. There does appear to be an access hole on the left side I could peek in there. I can see that there is both a Simrad and Lowrance branded hub, I assumed either would work with the NSS8s, thanks for confirming. Im not planning on mounting anything in the dash, probably mount the hub unit in the rod locker around where the side-scan module is mounted. Planning on using either bluetooth w/phone or a USB thumbdrive, at least for now not intending to use/mount the dock.

Just to follow up with anyone that might be interested in this. I now have a working NexSysLink gauge reading my Detwiler jack-plate height. I have learned quite a bit about these Beede gauges. They are very impressive in their abilities. Not only do they read the SmartCraft signals form the Mercury, but also have three analog inputs. One is dedicated from the factory to read the NMEA0183 information from the GPS. The other two are free and available to use. With the help of a very nice, helpful gentleman at Beede, I was able to install a BasCat custom NexSysLink trim gauge that reads the jack-plate height. It does require the trim gauge to be re-programmed by Beede to display the jack-plate parameter, this help I received from Beede. The Beede company and this particular gentleman are first class. I would think that BassCat could order these trim gauges pre-programmed to read the jackplate parameter, at least on a Detwiler that has an analog sending unit. May or may not be that much interest, but my dash sure looks better now. Thanks for listening, Dave Last edited by dabro on June 17th, 2015, 3:54 am, edited 1 time in total.

I have a 2014 Puma and have always felt there was a bit of mechanical slack in the steering. Can there be a mechanical adjustment between the steering wheel and the hydraulics?

Basscat has been in touch with me already and they are working with me to get this fixed. Even though my boat is out of warranty they are stepping up to get this corrected. The service after the sale is what separates BCB from the pack. Will post updates, thanks BCB

I have a Detwiler on my 2014 Puma, not sure where it fits in the version saga. I believe it does have the integrated Mercury pump. Plate works flawlessly. Seems very strong. Happy with it
