Thanks guys. I took the boat out the first three days I had it. Now I have to daydream about it while Im in Dubai for a month and then sending it to D&T Boatworks for a week after that. The repairs and beaching bumper will be worth the money and wait though.

Very nice, good luck with the sale. If I wouldnt have already done a deal on a 2014 I would be all over this. Can I ask what your speed is like with the 27 Fury?

I like this option, for reliability. If Im ever on an unfamiliar lake, and my console graph happened to cramp out… I can “relocate” my bow graph to the console in about a minute.Thats a good point that I hadnt thought of. Plus I could remove it easily for service(hopefully not for many years) and security reasons. I went ahead and filled out Sherms order form and will be emailing them Monday to see if I can have a slight adjustment made. Now if I can just figure out if I can do this install myself or have the dealer do it. Never installed anything like this on a nice glass boat and my last boat already had the SI transducer mounted.

Thanks. Ill order the Y-cable and I guess the jackplate mount from TS&S. The ethernet cable should be at home by the time I get back, itll be linked to the 788ci up front until I can upgrade that one also. Thanks for tips. Now I just have to play the waiting game.

I always stay hooked up backing down and retrieving. Most of the time I put just a little slack in the strap, and then when Im backed in unhook and drive the boat off the trailer then get the truck off the ramp. I pretty much grew up on Toledo Bend and have seen all kinds of stuff happen at boat ramps. 9 times out of 10 someone was in a hurry. I have also seen a couple of guys tie the boat to the trailer to float it off only to have the rope break and the boat floating alone out in the lake.

Ive been wondering if I need to do this on my 14 PII, been getting the low voltage message since it was new. Ill be installing a 999 HDSI unit soon. bass1958- You just wired the units up directly hot and negative, with an inline fuse? Do you bypass the main power switch at the console and the breaker switch at the battery?cadmoving- Sorry to hijack.

Easy to mount and it is amazing how much easier it is to move the trailer around when you are looking at the garage head on. I had a very small radius to work in and it helped a great deal. A bit of a pain to disconnect and reconnect the trailer, but we got real good at it. Got the idea watching the guys at the boat yard moving rigs around with a tractor that had a ball on the front. Its not really a tight area, garage just isnt long enough. Even though it is three cars wide. I just have to turn the boat by hand in and out every trip. Considering getting the garage extended but thats a lot of money.
