So then after the cable comes out of the hole, it crosses over the livewell valve control on its way to the foot throttle?

Anyone with a Merc have a pic that shows the cable and hotfoot?

Thanks for posting Bill, that was really nice of you. The puma is laid out a little different though, the cable has to come out of the side wall since there is no cup holder in the corner, and the LW valve is lower…

Is the Opti/DFI okay to use? Or should I exchange it for Prem Plus? Im guessing the Opti oil is a better quality? DH

So, I have been having issues with my incandescent compartment lights in my 07 Puma and decided to install the Blue Water LEDs. I started in the front center compartment replacing the lights with an LED strip. It worked just fine. I moved on to the starboard rear compartment, and by then the front compartment lights had timed out (I assumed), The starboard lights were working, I replaced them with an LED strip, and they didnt work. I thought maybe the lights needed a few minutes to reset after timing out, so, I waited, but no LED lights on either of the compartments were working. I decided to look and see if other compartment lights were workiing. When I opened the port rear compartment, not only did the light in there come on, BOTH OTHER COMPARTMENT LIGHTS CAME ON ALSO! After giving it some thought, I thought maybe whatever sensor turns off the lights after 10 minutes, might not me sensiing enough current with the LEDs to reset. When I hooked up the regular lights along with the LEDs, it worked! So, right now I have re-done 3 compartments by making Y connectors and hooking up both the LED, and the old lights. It is the only way I have been able to make them work. Questions for BCB: How does the auto light shut-off work? Do you think the lack of current draw is the problem as I am guessing? Any suggestions to resolve? Im assuming the security system works by sensing the current draw when compartment lights go on. Will LEDs alone draw enough to set off the alarm? Why do I have so many light problems… Thanks

I live in NY. Need a place to store boat in FL so I can use it all winter. I have family in the area that Let me park my truck, but no room for the boat. Usually make half dozen long weekends between Christmas and late March. It really makes the winters tolerable.
