Phil – thanks Ill watch for it! I carry to much for sure.
Phil – thanks very, very much for your trouble. I never would have guessed the 3700s would fit width wise. Now I see that there is more room than I thought. Do you have the little tray slots in the front 2 compartments? The one at the boat show had slots for two 3700s in each and you have 4 in each one. I can now see getting my stuff in there and still leaving room for the non-boater to have a back compartment. The smaller of my two front compartments now looks this: The rest is in one of the back compartments.Last edited by rudapa on January 19th, 2008, 12:07 am, edited 1 time in total.
BCB, awesome reply and please dont get me wrong – I put the link here just so one could see what stuff is being said. It was not meant as an attack in anyway!! The console is certainly very functional – but also the first thing non BCB owners point to as a reason they wont own a cat. I would take functional over sporty everytime if I couldnt have both. My search for the “next boat” is down to a Puma and a X2 with Puma being in the lead by a good distance at this time. Other brand owners will often talk down everything but their currently owned brand. I think one can find good and bad in all of them and that like anything it comes down to which one adds up with the most good qualities and the least bad. My current triton has gas smell in the rod lockers – so Id welcome some chrome vents. The console on my Triton is “sportier” than the cat, but it is also covered in plastic and it would not hold a 28C or HB 997. Again trade offs. If the worst thing about the Cat is the console shape – then it will be hard for others to compete.
I would assume that livewell plugs are not an option then since most seem to prefer the valves.
Thanks for the answer. So 2 fill caps for the Cougar and 3 for the Puma?
Some open up pretty good, but others are really on low pixel side of things and you cant really get a good look at them. Ive got a couple colors patterns I really like from the BCB pictures pinned on top of the BBC BCB forum page. Id like to see some more though.Last edited by rudapa on March 16th, 2008, 5:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Very nice!!
Those are some awesome looking boats!! Please keep posting them.
Awesome!! You all have some gorgeous Cats!! Nothing in a lighter green or blue and silver combo?
It is one of my favorite boat color combos, but I have a friend who is going to order one just like it, so it is off my list.
With all the great looking Cats – this thread is worthy of being pinned on top. Nobody has tried a lighter green, silver, and black color scheme?
Scott – Im a wannabe Cat guy. Thats the meaning of this thread to figure out what color I may end up with next winter or so.
I think the light blue and silver with black stripes is an awesome coler – I just wonder if a light green in the same pattern would be cool as well. Must not be since Ive not seen one like that. What other flake colors are similar in shade to the light blue?
EDP it didnt come through?
