I had the Easy-View on my old boat and had a whole kit left over and put a few bars up in my Cougar. As above, drill pilot holes and do not remove any foam. I like knowing where my stuff is… I seldom hve any issues with bags falling off or the screws coming out. I did have one strip come off, which I have replaced yet.. but it was my fault as where it was mounted was too close to the latch. Ill be trimming the strip and reattaching next week…. I dont have as many mounted in the Cougar as I had on my old boat. I load up what I plan on throwing, and this accomplishes several things… I have what I want near me when I need it, and it keeps me on my game-plan. Its not difficult to grab something from the day box.. so I keep a few other essentials that I think Ill need in there. tc

Great job and great accolades from the reviewers. Let’s all not lose sight of a few that have made this so successful. I remember my purchase in 2007, and the filling out of the survey. Even though everything did not go perfectly with the dealer, folks like Ivan and Scott were there to straighten out and handle the situation and take care of any issues raised almost immediately. This is what makes a strong business… it’s the people that are commited to providing the highest in customer service. This coupled with a great product with few defects creates the number one boat/company over and over.

Everyone on this board only makes it better. A place where anyone can ask a question or share a story, anonymously if they wish, and get a sincere answer. Best of luck with future surveys… I hope you get the 5th in ’09… I think we’ll all do our part with sharing the best of our chosen sport with each other.. you just keep on providing the great boats and top notch service and I don’t see how you can miss!!

Thanks Kent… yep.. theres so much room in the locker that the rods just kept seaking the bottom and as such, the tip were often tangled up. Even without any lift for the handles at this point, its much better. I may build 2 small slings, one above the other, to rest the ahndles on.. Im still playing with it… a couple of bungee cords should do it.. tc

The big staging fish have been moving up shallow early and late. The fishing has been awesome the last few weeks. If the warming trend continues, you should expect bedding fish even before the end of March back in the shallow creeks. The fish that Ive been catching have not really been tournament fish… 95% are in the slot – which is 16″ to 24″ (roughly 2.5lbs -> 9lbs+). Good luck with the T. tc

Ive got a 10″ orbital that I use…. but am thinking of adding a 7″ specifically for the boat… the 10″ is great for most of the hull… but the areas around the decks, consoles and transom would be better done with the smaller head. Catman is right I think I paid $20 for the 10″ (Turtle Wax brand)… and the 7″ is a little less…
