i figured it could be done but the idea of a non boating company doing the major work scares me. if i had to get it done would you guys be able to recommend someone? and what about the the difference in cost between the 2(new and reworked)? the mistake trailer…how rare is rare? and we are talking about the 5g number to get a hold of one of these?thanks bcb

any idea where i could get this work done? should i trust a welding shop to set up the trailer? they would have to repossition the bunks and raise then to a height high enough that it does not hit the fenders. if i bought from a basscat dealer would bcb be willing to take the whole setup and do it at the bcb site by bcb employees? also do you have even an educated guess on cost? nothing i would hold you too.

your right…. it is listed in the for sale section in this website. 98 p3 with 98 mariner 200 opti listed for 10000. im not trying to advertise for him so shhhhh seems like a great deal and alot less then i was planing on spending. i have not asked he about this yet but if i find a volunteer i will get address and put it together. thanks for looking out for bcb owner wannabe.

i heard they are from 99″ to 102″ if you get a new one you can get a custom narrow trailer if you need one.

how did you make out with your opti problem? i was actually talking to this guy about the boat and he said powerhead was replaced 2 times. and i had David Tucker check the boat out for me and he said he knew someone who knew the boats history, and the powerhead was replaced 3 times by the original owner. hope you get it running right without to much cost.

Yes. i was actually talking to him for like 2 weeks and i had someone look at it on saturday and he said it seemed to be in good condition. i called the owner that night to tell him i wanted the motor to get tested and he said you were coming with cash in hand the next day to look at it and that he would take the motor to get inspected if you did not want it. still can not get in touch with him?
