brake light

I have a 2006 puma have no brake light on left side. Maybe i am weak or have lost my mind. Is there a secret on getting the light assembly lens of to change the bulb. Thanks for the help.

The bulb cannot be changed out. The whole light has to be replaced.

I changed a brake light out twice before I found out it was a fuse. Boy did I feel silly…You might check yours. GeorgeGeorge

Also, check the ground points on the trailer. My 2008 Puma Trailer, on the entire left or driver side of the trailer, lights quit working! I found that the ground wire on the left rear of the trailer, was not grounding properly. I relocated the ground wire and it solved the issue! If you have a test light, you can figure this out easily. Make sure the wire has power before you purchase another light assembly.James

The rubber grommets hold the tail light in place. The light pops out and the grommet has lips that hold the light, and hold it in the fender.This is usually a replacement item, after you tech it of course for power. Reverse the light wires at the tongue by crossing the plug 90 degrees. Plug the brown (tail) wire pin into the green (right) pin on the trailer, with parking lights on you should have a right brake light then.You can also check any of the lights by crossing this plug and pin in whichever combination you want.BCB

If the LED light goes out in a less than 1 year old trailer is it covered under warranty.
