Bay Cat bilge/baitwells…

The rear Dry Storage or Bait Wells and the rear Live Well on my Bay Cat seem to be constantly filling and emptying with water. Because the Bay Cat is self draining, is this part of an equalization process, meaning that any portion of a well that is under the water line will hold water? If so, then how can these compartments ever be used as dry storage?

Are you plugging them with the 5/8″ drain plug, plus twist the ball valve on the spray bar to prevent filling. This is located in the sump area on the side of the wall, in the plumbing, and should have a red handle.BCB
