As much as I hate to admit this, when I changed my batteries out yesterday (just the two trolling motor batteries on a 3 battery 36 volt system), I thought I knew how the wires needed to go back, but then when I put the new batteries back in, it seems to me to not align with positive posts and negative posts like I removed it.I stopped and thought Id seek some guidance before I start hooking up wires.In my jag, the two trolling batteries are against the left side gas tank. With that compartment door up, and me in the boat facing the left side gas tank, the batteries are oriented such that the back of the battery faces the tank and the posts are on facing the middle of the boat.Posts go, from left to right, +,-,+,-. Is it possible that different battery manufactuers have the + and – reversed? If not, the neg from one battery must connect to the pos of the other…..isnt that correct?Thanks in Advance
