Wiring Harness Question

06 Puma. Came back from fishing this evening and noticed part of the wiring harness hanging down from the drivers console. Appears to be a Male adapter marked “System Link” with Blk, Yel, and Purple/white wires. Comes from a harness that holds a large guage blue wire and others with “Terminator Resistor” marked on it. I couldnt find an obvious place where it would hook in, and the boat runs great, so Im assuming maybe this is a hook up for diagnostic work????

Do you have a built in depth finder. It sounds like a plug for the network on a electronics network. I know it isnt Lowrance by the description but if you have another brand Ill bet its either a spare unused cable or it came loose from the back of your sonar…

We think that is just a wire with a terminator resistor on it that is loose. If there are open pins on this set up, then check the terminal block which should be a black four plug junction block which may have a wire loose there. There are a couple, 3 actually, of different systems in 2006, and we would have to see it to determine if this is a terminator on the end of system link harness, or if it is an open harness for adding a link gauge. We will have to visit with those systems tomorrow and jog our memory.BCB
