how do you tighten up the trolling motor mounting bolts?

Should be an accessory panel on that side of bow. You will need to remove the panel, then using dexterity, locate the nuts by reaching into the area which will be the underside of the top cap and apply pressure while tightening. Tie a tether onto the wrench so that you can easily retrieve it and you use the trolling motor panel for access.

nice tip bcb!!! maybe this should be on the walk of shame thread!! lost a crescent wrench in one trying to tighten the tm down. somehow when i would stop or just the driving down the road it would work its way up then on takeoff you could hear it slide back and finally hit something. had to hear on numerous occasions from the wife “what is that noise”!!! now ALWAYS have a string on it!!
