Tough to say on a ’94? Though usually it is the voltage regulator or a stator and not the dash.
Check to see if you have voltage above static 12 volts when running. If you don’t, then it is definitely the voltage regulator. It should be cranking out somehwere around 13.5 running to 14.2. If it is lower than 12 or above 14 .6, somehting is up!
The regualtors are not much, the stator is a bit expensive.
