Issue with breaking Humminbird 1198c transom mounted transducer

hello All,I have a 2011 PIV with a Humminbird 1198c SI Combo unti. I have now broken the mounting tabs on two of the XHS 9 HDS! 180 T transducers.I actually lost the transducer this last weekend fishing Clearlake Ca. Luckily I have a through the hull 2d transducer for running 2d mode.Bass Cat did the original mounting and I have stuck with it. The mounting hardware is fine and still attached to the transom but the two tabs on the transducer either crack or just break. The unit seems up high enough so when you run and run over maybe a small piece of wood it shouldnt hit the transducer. All I went through this weekend are weeds. I dont understand why I keep breaking these things.Anyone have a suggestion on mounting these so you wont snap them off? Transducer Shield and Saveris the suggested brace for mounting these transducers in the last two years. Scap and Shirley have really found a niche with this product. The cost is about a transducer, though you now have three your buying in your ownership. We strongly suggest these and offer them, the mount ratio is 50/50 on the TSS braces.

They work really well and have saved my stuff a lot. I have my SI mounted on the jack plate and it works super in that position. Give them a call.
