New Boat Questions – Fuel Tanks & Trim

Made the move from a Bug to a Cat, proud owner of a 2012 Jaguar and loving this boat! A little confused by the tank configuration, I have two tanks in the rear and one located in the center behind the console. The panel is labeled right & left, and the control knob aft is labeled right & left as well. As best I can tell, there is not a fuel sender on both rear tanks, and today the motor died mid lake. Switched tanks, primed the bulb and was up and running again. When I stopped on the way home to refuel, it seemed that one of the side tanks was indeed empty, but the other only took about 5 gallons. So I am now wondering why the engine shut down? Sure its a simple thing, but would love an answer from someone.Second issue I am sure is just learning the boat. The boat jumps out of the hole really quickly and the boat rides really level compared to what I am used to. I am trimming it gently and see improved performance, but sometimes the boat feels like it is sliding sideways when hitting a small wave. The boat also leans into turns a bit more than I am used to. Reading others comments on the board I hear folks referring to their boats sliding into turns. Is that the norm?Sorry for the long comments, just trying to find my way with the new ride.Tom
