Update: Called Dexter Brakes, discussed the issues with the representative, he is sending me the claims form requested photos and is leaning on sending a complete end axle assembly for replacement. Everything is still under warranty still, which is great. He stated that the caliper is modeled after a 1957 Chevy caliper, and that it needs to slide back and forth and is not fixed. Great customer service.
