We are suspect that it’s just the lenses are cloudy. You can have them replaced by a company and we don’t recall their name.

I think you are talking about the mercury sc1000 gauges. They are pricey. I cant post any links to any purchasing places as its forbidden by the new forum. MERCURY BOAT SPEEDOMETER TACHOMETER GAUGE 79-8M0135633 | SMARTCRAFT SC1000 they are like 600-800 dollars

I have the same problem on my 06 Puma. The screen is fine but I can barely see the LCD on the bottom at all , thinking of going with Merc Vessel View.

I had the same problem several years ago with my Smartcraft SC1000 gauges. I took the gauges apart and removed the inner lens, which is what fades, and haven’t had any problems since. Real easy to do.

Try gaugesaver.com….the perform a bench test, replace plastic cover with a glass cover and they will led replacements

I just order the replacement lcd and lenses for the smart craft gauges from gauge saver, hopefully that will fix that, then ordered faria Platinum water and trim gauges! I’m hoping they will fit the same!
