Thanks for the replies to this issue. The help is greatly appreciated. I keep losing fish on the ride home and discovered this week that all the water runs out of the wells when I’m on plane running from spot to spot. Once in Auto that water should hold.
My buddy and I are on a fishing trip right now and so I had him sit in the driver seat and move the toggle switch from empty to Auto while I was looking down at the part in the live well. I didn’t see any movement on the Livewell part. Bass Cat had texted me the model/part number and, I could see the part number, so I’m pretty sure that is the valve since there is a hose coming into it and then a hose going out the back of the boat at the lowest part of the boat.
Also, when you flip from empty to Auto, it feels like there is tension and “click”and that the valve would be closing, but unfortunately it’s not closing fully. The switch definitely has some tension to it and doesn’t just move back and forth freely. I was hoping it was some type of debris that would have worked itself free by this point
I am guessing the part in the live well is where the valve is and I worry how much of a problem it’ll be to replace that part potentially since the cable running from the throttle has to run back there to connect.
Any other thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.
