I am looking at adding a ram mount base below the flip up cleat on a 2024 Puma STS (between the cleat and master power switch). Is that area reinforced and suitable? I know some have removed the cleat and replaced with the Ram base, but I like the cleat and would like to keep it. Also, what is the best way to access the area to allow through bolting the size D Ram Mount base? Will unscrewing the shifter panel provide access? Thanks.
