.I have a gentleman who fishes my USCG Tournament that mounted a pool type railing to the side of his console on his aluminum tracker. He did the same on his new glass boat. I thought it was a great idea when I saw it. If I remember correctly, the mounting brackets attached to the side of the console and the railing slid into the holders. Perhaps that would work for you as well.

I reached out to him and he used Black SAFTRON SS-36 Single-Post Spa Support Rail with Lift & Turn Base for in-ground spas and partially submerged spas. (18″ Wide x 36″ Tall. Horizontal bar clears 22″ spa side). He held it in place with u clamps to the console.
This is the custom part we manufactured and designed for the late Bob Carnes. Bob was able to compete right up to his last month of life with this accessory added. In his later term he won a major Beaver Lake team event in his late 70’s, at 78 we believe.
