What options on a new Cougar

Hey fellas.

I’m looking to join the Basscat family next year by ordering a Cougar with the 203 hull.  I’m looking to add the padded front deck, fiberglass step-up box, and a hotfoot.  What other options do you consider a must-have?  I plan to add steps in the future and I’ll probably get a non-BC cover just for overnight at hotels.  Any advice is appreciated.

That boat comes very well equipped IMO. Reflex floor in the cockpit is nice as it wont hold water

I ran a Cougar 203 for the last 5 seasons, if you’re mounting dual dash graphs, I would get the Ballzout graph mounts at the console with the Smartcraft gauge in the center. This will keep your graphs low enough to see over easily and track engine data.  Reflex flooring the cockpit for sure. I preferred a hydraulic jackplate in mine. I would order the Tricksteps as well and a BCB cover. Removeable passenger console if you want one. You will love it, great handling and eats big water!
