I went to fill up the rig and turned on the rear breaker to see how much fuel needed in each tank, the dash panel is dead nothing lights, horn gas, fan pumps, security etc. besides the 25 amp breaker is there a fuse/breaker for the panel ? I noticed when I did a search on this forum that another person had the same issue with a 2018 rig. Is there a ongoing problem with these panels ? Is there somewhere else I should be looking in the boat ? Thanks
Your panel is not specific to a Caracal as they are a Premium model set that extends from Jaguar to Caracal and in some cases other tiers of models. Also is could be a ground issue or one of the two (2) power supplies to the dash. Be sure a technician verifies whether there is an issue with a power feed.
The original ATen panel was an extremely low percentage of failure and over 10,000 are in operation of the recent design. That vendor ended production without long term notice and the move to a newer “smart” panel was required to get up to date parts that were aging out. We had to bring the parts list up to date from that early 2000’s internal design. The ATen was realistically under a 1% failure rate
The move to Interactive manufactured panels was not originally a clean switch and some problems occurred. There is a low digit percentage of failure on Interactive panels and you will see that on newer models. Still lower than those dash failures of competitive brands smart controllers, though above our level of acceptance.
In the first quarter of 2018 we removed some of the “smart” features on the backside to make the panel more clean in operation and that resulted in minimal single digit failures on 2020 model year. You will read the trail of this move in archived information here as we did not desire a move from the ATen. For the last 18 months we have seen a failure rate lower than we experienced from the ATen and thus we moved a similar design of the dash assembly over to Yar-Craft on the new 219 TFX.
We are pleased with the low failure rate of the series of alterations on this design. Zero is perfect, though this is very close and we won’t see zero with analog switches.

Thanks BCB, I contacted the dealer and he gave me some info but I also contacted Richard in Service and he steered me in the right direction for finding the problem. Thanks for the history .
