These are from the Tip of the Bow and rearwards towards the consoles. Bass Cat always references a distance from the tip of the bow in order to get a standard comparison against other brands. The other brands often refer against the deck and deck position may start in a different location. Match any length of position up from the furthest point forwards.
Some other brands are misleading in appearance and the width begins further back, while forward beam inside the gunnels might not be nearly as wide as it is perceived.

That is a very informative chart! Thanks so much
Great info. Whats interesting to see is there is not much more room on the front decks of the FTD models compared to the PII and the Classic actually has more front deck space than the FTD models. The Caracal is a monster up front as well.
BCB I think you should keep this chart near the top and update every year. Thanks
Dang, I cant believe yall have this chart now after all that research and work I did back in 2010 doing something similar. I applaud you guys for providing a chart with these measurements. It took me a month of riding all over 3 states to find all the different boats to make measurements that were “apples to apples” of your boats that I was interested in and other brands boats. Every boat manufacturer would talk about beam, well I wanted the info of width where I fished and where my rods were. Im sure Rick remembers meeting me at Andy Greenes open house in February 2010. Rick drug his Jaguar in the snow to this event just so I could climb in it. Bass Cat continues to impress me with their dedication to customers and potential customers. Britt
Rick often tells the story of Jaguar deck number on a spread sheet by a dedicated (not his chosen words) person, who built a spread sheet. It showed the truth in feet from the bow on decks for a 522/521, Skeeter, Triton, Nitro and other boats with details. We are sure your the person because it was North Carolina he mentioned. Everyone here wanted to use the pedestal location for reference and he said use the tip of the bow for true numbers. Scroll right for the other models.
Ha ha. Dont forget Phoenix, that was the boat I was sure I was going to get till I put a tape on it and it was not much different than my Skeeter. I am quite sure hell never forget me. I was slap full of questions. He just happened to be the man with all the answers. He answered so many of my why and how questions. I believe I got the entire history of why BCBs does what they do for their builds during my time with him. After 1 hour in that Jag with him I immediately ordered me one, never regretted it one single time.
Great story as well as great information. I was surprised that the stats on the Puma/Cougar FTD, Eyra, and PII were so similar. Im guessing the Cougar SP is about the same?
BCB – why is there an inch difference in the deck widths of the Puma FTD Vs Cougar FTD at the 6 foot back point. If they are the same hull with the difference being layout, what caused the difference? Just wondering.
Deck designs and we think there is close to another inch in the bow at one measurement.
