Thinking about swapping out my slidemaster for a bob’s Hydraulic. I have a 2006 Puma with a 225 pro xs. Wondering if I should go with a 6” or an 8”?

U should have enough slack in your rigging
I really like my Sea Star. It is an 8″. BassCat uses and 6 hole mount now days. Not sure about the 06 model year.
8”
I went from a 6″ slide master to a 8″ Bobs Action Jack on my 06 Cougar / 225 Pro XS with no problems. Bobs is a great jackplate.
