Where does the power come from for the bow electronics? I believe they were installed at the factory. Do they go through the rod locker and then back the entire way to the terminal panel that is on the transom? I have a 2012 PII. Any help would be appreciated, trying to track down a problem.
they should run in the right hand (Starboard) gunnel and some inside the PVC. Grounds go into a 4 way start connector at the console and distribute from there after leaving the Terminal Block on the transom. BCB

It is a Star 4 way splitter. There will be four yellow connections with one rivet holding them together. This should be tucked inside the console gunnel area.

Sounds like you are working to wire front electronics direct to battery to eliminate voltage loss. I am working the same issue to run a large wire to the front from one of the TM batteries to reduce the draw on the cranking battery.
