Happy Hour and Stray Bullet teamed up to win a benefit tournament for a friend (Cliff Crochet) of ours that qualified for the Bass Masters Classic. It was cold and raining but we managed to put 5 on the scales. Fishing was tough and there was only 2 limits out of the entire field (28 boats). Fishing will get considerably better this week with the warm up we will have in Louisiana/South. Also the cat (Cougar Advantage) clocked a mean 80.8 with a full load.
I want all it will give me
Congratulations Happy Hour!! Way to break it in right. Our club tournament fished the same day and the weights showed the same tough conditions. No limits and only 5or 6 people weighed any fish. Im going later this morning and tommorrow to scout for this weekend coming up when I fish our Club Tournament. Take care now. Chris Coupel Paulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
Where are yall fishing?
Super congrats to the team that won a tournament out of a Cat! Awesome speeds too. That is sick!
Thanks!
Now that is the way to break in a new Cat….Congrats
congrats…just curious as to how your boat is setup..motor,prop,etc.???
Happy Hour, We are launching at Bayside. I went today and fished Oxy field Canals, Cheramie, Little Logans, A&P canal off of lake Palourde, Hog bayou and a couple other little spots and only had 1 fish. I figured it would be tough today but it should get better and better as the warmer weather this week heats things up. Yall did an excellent job putting a limit in the boat. I plan on going again tommorrow but Im not sure where Im going to check just yet. Probably make that decision on the way to the launch in the morning. Take care and keep up the winning streak. Something about a new cat, I went on a tear when I bought mine!! Chris Coupel Paulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
