Fuel Gauge Question

I have an 2011 Sabre. Fuel gauge isn't working. Ive replaced the sending unit. Still not working. Ive replaced the gauge and still not working. Both ignition and master is on. Just to confirm I'm connecting it properly, there is a double purple and a pink. Which goes to I and which goes to S? Lights and ground are self-explanatory here.. Thanks!

That fuel gauge wire is usually a yellow wire. Things get toyed with on older boats and we don’t know, but the pink was an accessory switch.

Make sure you have the ground loop from your starter battery to the battery your electronics are on.

When I added lithium batteries to my boat and took the electronics off the starter matter. I had the same issue. Replaced a bunch of stuff that didn’t need to get replaced. The whole time I broke the ground loop. So I just had to add a wire from the starter battery negative. Then connect the other end to the electronics battery negative. Fixed the gas gauge issue.
