You can remove the sender through the access hatch under the drivers seat. Then you can rebend the arm on the sender to settings you prefer for your application.
Just watch the gauge as you bend the arm, and use pliers or linemans pliers to hold the arm, which is a small rod.
The rebending is done by measuring the tank depth and matching where you want empty, half or full based on the gauge reading.
Replace it in the exact same holes as it is a one way fit to the tank. This insures the arm is always pointing the proper direction.
Mid season 2006 models are the WEMA sending unit, while earlier ones are Rochester units.
