Bass & Walleye Boats Magazine is no longer being published. Those of us with subscriptions will be receiving Trailer Boats Magazine instead. They even told some sources that they would be adding some sections on bass boats for those of us who arent interested in their more generic rag. My first copy arrived today. Well… 1. I used to subscribe to Trailer Boats years ago, and this is a thinner magazine than I recall. 2. There were two bass boats in the magazine… one in an advertisement for keel protectors and one in an advertisement for props. I guess that was our obligatory bass boat coverage. I guess the Lund on page 44 in the article about getting aluminum to shine could be called a walleye boat. Oh, well. The economy is tough everywhere. I guess I should be happy that I am getting something instead of nothing for the remainder of my subscription.Last edited by Bob La Londe on June 30th, 2009, 12:44 am, edited 1 time in total.–Bob La Londe Forums, Free Lures, Product Reviewswww.YumaBassMan.com CNC Molds N Stuffwww.CNCMOLDS.com
This came up several weeks ago here. Any info you find in a mag can be found on the web. Only difference is most cant take their PC to do #2! LOL!
LMAO !!!!! You got that right Phil !!
I also got my new mag yesterday. Not much info for the average hard core bass boat junkie. I flipped through mine pretty fast and it went right in the trash. Not even a worthy addition to my porcelain library. If I want to see a bunch of jet skies and ski boats I could just go to Conroe

Well, I do have two or three laptops in the house at any given time, but I can imagine some ciurcumstances that would not want me to use it again if I took it to the library with me.–Bob La Londe Forums, Free Lures, Product Reviewswww.YumaBassMan.com CNC Molds N Stuffwww.CNCMOLDS.com
I brought this to everyones attention several weeks ago so that if you were renewing you are not getting what you paid for. I almost sent them my payment, luckily I caught it in time and spoke with them they at that time were reluctant to admit they stopped publishing. I could care less about ski and pontoon boats. Scotty
Yeah…I got my first copy yesterday also. What a joke. I will make sure that I subscribe to that publication when I win the lottery and can buy a $100,000 boat. What a dissapointment. I renewed my subscription last year and did it for 3 years. Thank goodness for Bass Cat. There is way more info in this forum than in Bass And Walleye anyway. Now if BCB just doesnt get rid of us we will all be ok.
Actually we are very familiar with the Editorial staff of TB and the changes were rushed for the most part. Tough to say the Cougar FTD was the last cover story. They are working to move some bass into TB, though that will take a couple of issues to happen. We think in two more you could see some light bass ink. Though if not we know that would be a corporate decision.
Well, its been over a year now. Have they added any real bass stuff to TB? Last issue I received was in January or February and it was just a skinny pleasure boat mag. I just let my subscription expire to TB. It rarely had anything that even came close to something about bassboats.
