I’m having trouble forming words in my mind to write. I met Ron decades ago while testing my Ranger on the lake. I had stopped on the water because a fuel line had cracked and I was thinking of a way to fix it enough to get to the ramp. Ron motored over and offered some tape to get me back to the ramp. I thanked him and asked his name. When he told me, I asked if he owned BassCat boats. I appreciated him helping a Ranger owner (I am a Puma owner today). I ran across him a few times over the next couple of decades. I knew he wasn’t feeling well but didn’t realize death was fast approaching. A good man who will be missed. My prayers to Rick and the family.
