I have priced this and it will cost 260 from humminbird.I purchased a 997c and no longer need it. Has Humminbird looked at the unit for you to know for sure what exactly is wrong with it?. If so, I am interested in it. And is $225 a must have for it?

Hey fire…I called humminbird, and the deptartment there told me that they will repair it for 260.95 with return shipping. I have never used humminbird repair before, but their customer service seems to be top notch, so im assuming the repair staff should be correct . 225 is firm on that……even after the reapirs, your getting a like new 858 for 580.00 . the unit was dropped in the box, and it broke the screen inside loose, and it does not power up. the case is perfect condition as it was in the box, but it does not work. If you buy it and they will not stand behind the repairs, ill buy it back from you….I dont want anyone getting ripped on the deal.
