Have a very good friend and customer of mine that lives down in Texas. This guy has a place down on Lake Fork and is pretty good friends with a guide down there by the name of Jason Hoffman. He has been giving Jason some of my jigs for the last year or so. Guess Jason liked enough that he gave me a call a few weeks ago to discuss building him some jigs in a special color that he wanted. Will not get into the exact color much and told Jason I would keep it a little secret. Will only build for him, my buddy that referred him to me along with any customers or friends that Jason refers to me. Jason ended up buying 50 football jigs in 1 oz with hvy hooks and hvy weed guards. Told me he was tired of the sissy jigs he was using. Jason has been catching fish down at Fork pretty good the past couple weeks on this jig. Evan had a couple clients of his call me the past couple weeks with reports of what they have been catching down there on this jig. Guess Jason decided to give Fork a little break and try this jig out on Falcon. Guess those fish like this jig also and here is a picture of one he caught the other day. Fish weighed a little over 11 pounds. From the picture, fish looks bigger than that to me !!!

falcon currently is loving the jig bite…
Chris, I do appreciate and look forward to hearing from you. Have pretty much just turned this fishing tackle thing into more of a hobby and extra income type thing. Just came to realize with me being a one man show and doing so much custom stuff. That for the most part I could never make a decent living doing it full time without some major help and or backing. Is one of the main reasons I went back to work full time. Although the job I ended up finding and taking pretty much sucks. Is a steady income for the time being and helped take a big burden off my shoulders for the time being until I can find something a little better. Thanks and give me a shout once you get ready !!!
You killing me Im headed to Falcon Sept 5 and Im on edge waiting to get back down there I love that lake !!
Had a lot of people asking and figured I would post a picture of the jig.
Joeys jigs work at other lakes, not just Falcon. The quality jig youre looking for.BAYOU BANDIT
I appreciate Sam and was nice as always chatting with you the other day. Glad you are feeling a little better and hoping the outcome is good news also. As always, miss fishing with you like we use to and hoping one day we get to share a boat together again. Who knows, maybe one day I will get to make the little get together down on the Red again and would really like to fish the Owners Tournament again also. Norfork owes us a little pay back and you know just like I do. Should have done a lot better in that first tournament we fished up there !!Take Care and Good Luck !!
